This is a NOS part but does have some tweaks and bends sustained
in transport. I would say if you're talented with fixing
trim this has potential but certainly not what I would call

According to West Coast Classic Cougars - "Why is this right rear wheel lip so costly and difficult to find these days? Consider this... The right rear was the first to go obsolete from Ford. The right rear is the one most likely to get damaged because of it being the corner that is in the "blind spot". Remember, these early Cougars did not have RH mirrors! Lastly and maybe the most relevant is the fact that the right rear wheel is your traction tire which means more damage from flying road debris, loose tire chains and the like. It was NEVER Ford Motor Companies intent to make these cars last forty or more years."

The chrome ring surrounding the Mercury Man Head from 0 to 100 degrees does not look as smooth and shiny as the rest. Click on that third picture to see what I'm describing. Also the back clamps appear to have some kind of epoxy on it? The clamp is not at all loose.

This third one has a little crack to the right of the Mercury Man head and below his chin. I don't know how or why these flaws occur. The backside is flawless.
