The story.
These are part of an NOS set that I put on my '67 Cougar as part of its restoration. Lines are color coded with stripes. I'll include the splitters you see in the photos. I removed this set a year or two later when I switched over to the Probe headlight motors.

It is very heavy.
Not certain. I think this one is one I loaned to Jay Williams when he was at the Cougar Nats in Denver back in the 90's to put on his 69 Eliminator so he wouldn't be dinged point for not having the original cover. I'm not an expert on air cleaner lids so if you know what it goes to let me know.

Identified by the wagon wheel like spokes in the stamping. 1967 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Additionally this lid was used for the Canadian export Cougars and Mustangs in 1968, they continued to use the open emissions system. Super nice lid.
